According to the foreword, this was the first general travel book related to the 'rejuvenated Kingdom of Bulgaria' to be published in English. Bulgaria would end up joining the first World War the year after publication. Jacket with some rubbing and light wear to edges, including some small tears and wrinkles at the spine ends and edges. Jacket also with some light sunning to spine and some spotting to front panel. Book with light wear at the edges, as well as some mottling to the top of the front board.
